Genre:  Contemporary romance
Publisher:  Limitless Publishing
Release Date:  May 23rd, 2017

Synopsis:
Gwen Stevens had a privileged life until her father spoke three little words that turned her world upside down. “You’re cut off.”

Broke and desperate, Gwen is forced to accept a waitressing job, but this glimmer of hope has a price. As if being a cocktail waitress isn’t bad enough, she has to do it in a dive bar called The Den, and her bad luck doesn’t stop there. She also needs to deal with the new owner, a blue-eyed, self-righteous ass determined to make her life miserable.

Liam Sinclair walked away from the entitlement and obligation his family planned for him, vowing to make his own way in the world…

Adjusting to life as a new business owner, Liam has experienced more than his fair share of setbacks. When his only waitress breaks her leg, his sister takes it upon herself to hire a replacement—a spoiled, self-indulgent hothead with too much makeup and more than enough attitude. Gwen represents the world he’s trying to escape, a world of excess and greed that he was never cut out for.

Appearances can be deceiving, and first impressions aren’t always right…

Despite their apparent differences, the tension between them turns to a fiery passion that neither of them can resist. Together they find balance and learn to appreciate the simpler things in life. But Gwen soon discovers that old habits die hard, and one mistake is all it takes to ruin everything.

Forgiveness must be earned, but even a villain deserves a chance at redemption…

Interview:

  1. What inspired you to write this story?

Chance at Redemption is the third book in the Madison Square series. It features Gwen Stevens, the villain from Book 1 and Liam Sinclair, Madison’s hot younger brother from Book 2. I wanted to finish the series with a story that would bring all the characters together. Gwen was the villain everyone loved to hate and I wanted to write a story about second chances and redefining yourself

  1. Which character do you feel connected to?

I felt the most connected with Liam while writing this novel. CHANCE AT REDEMPTION is as much about Liam redefining himself as it is Gwen. He is the one who is always there to offer you advice on how to make your life better, but when it comes to following his own example Liam often falls short. Gwen may start off needing Liam but in the end its clear how much they need each other.

  1. Did you get writer's block while writing this story?

Dear god yes. I kept feeling like it was missing something. Like there was a plot hole I just wasn’t seeing. I was on a dinner cruise after a signing last year when another author helped me to see that since this is the last book in the series it wasn’t about the novel not being complete it was about saying good bye to the world of Madison Square and the characters I’d lived with for so long.

4.) Do you have a favorite beverage while writing?
Coffee is a must, but sometimes a glass of my favorite Moscato helps to get the creative juices flowing

5.) Where is your favorite place to write at?

My office or a cute little coffee place. I love writing with other author friends. I am luck enough to have become friends with some amazing authors from many different genres. Sometimes you need that little extra push to reach your word count or if you’re stuck it helps to talk out the situation with another writer.

6.) What do you like to do for fun?

I read, I’ve always been a lover of books for long before I became a writer. I like to escape inside a different world for a while and reading gives me that. Also, I sketch or paint. I’ve been an artist my entire life and sketching helps me to clear my head and destress. I love movies as well. I’m a huge classic movie buff so curling up with a cozy blanket and an old MGM classic is my idea of a great night.

7.) Do you have anything new coming up?

I have somethings in the works. I’m currently shopping a new novel inspired by bad dates and loosely by the princess and the frog. I hope to announce the publication of that novel very soon. About the Author:

Samatha “Sam” Harris lives near Baltimore, Maryland with her husband David and daughter Ava. Born in Florida, she migrated north which most people agree was a little backwards. She has been an artist all of her life, a Tattoo Artist for more than ten years, and a storyteller since she was a kid.

Sam has a slightly unhealthy love for Frank Sinatra, classic movies, and jazz and blues music, but her first love will always be reading. From romance, to thrillers, to historical fiction and everything in between, she loves to become a part of the story. As a writer she tells the stories that she would want to read.
