.) What inspired you to write Silence Of The Jams? In a small town where everyone thinks they know everyone else, Amy has to dig deep to find out what person or persons aren't what they appear to be. We never know what's really going on with someone else, and I think that's a fascinating concept to explore.
.) Did you get any writer's block while writing this story? Not really. I think this book flowed fairly well. I had a lot of fun with this book.
.) Which Character do you consider more to be like? I'd like to think I'm more like Amy--I had a close relationship with my grandmother and I really did spend a lot of time in the kitchen with her--but I'm afraid that as I get older, I'll wind up like Aunt Bess! LOL!
.) What was your favorite part to write about? My favorite parts--I love writing the funny scenes with Aunt Bess because I think she's such a hoot, and I also enjoy showing Amy as a strong, smart, independent woman who can take care of herself.
.) Do you have anything new coming up and if so can you tell us about it? HONEY BAKED HOMICIDE is the next book in this series, and it will be out in December, 2017. In HONEY BAKED HOMICIDE, Amy has just started selling Stu Landon's honey at the Down South Cafe. When she finds Stu dead in his truck in the parking lot one morning, Amy has to figure a way out of one sticky mess.
